THE BEST BLOWOUTS IN CALIFORNIA

Dry Bar | Del Mar + 20 More Locations

The original blowout conglomerate is still the first to come to mind when you hear the word blowout. The iconic yellow blow dryer logo is popping up all over California, with 11 locations in Los Angeles alone. Dry Bar, whose slogan No Cuts, No Color, Just Blowouts, is perhaps the most recognizable blowout chain. $40 buys you a wash, dry, and style, of which Dry Bar goers choose off of a restaurant-like menu featuring different blow dry styles named after classic cocktails. Southern Comfort, The Cosmo, and The Manhattan are 3 of the 10 styles available. And for Dry Bar lovers under 10? Well, a Shirley Temple, of course! Oh-- and no stress allowed here. iPhonecharging stations, purse hooks, and chick flicks on flat screens are all included in your blowout.

AKS Blowdry Bar | Temecula, CA

Chicago-bred stylist Anastasia Koklamanis is bringing her famous Chicago blowouts to Wine Country at AKS Blow Dry Bar in historic Old Town Temecula. AKS Blow Dry Bar operates next door to Anastasia's namesake salon, which Anastasia designed to be completely private. "I wanted something where customers could just pop in for a blow dry. It's all about the experience. When you're getting a blowout, you don't want to be sitting next to a color customer!" And an experience it is. Stepping into AKS Blow Dry Bar is like getting your hair done in an upscale Manhattan salon, with gorgeous gold fixtures and a sliding glass barn-style door in the middle of the salon. The AKS Blow Dry Menu features styles like The L.A. Girl, The Chicago Girl, and the NYC Girl- all $40 blowouts for the city you connect with most!

Blown | Beverly Hills

Blown, a sparkling 30-chair salon in Beverly Hills, is the one-stop for beauty mavens. In addition to creating the perfect blow dry look for just $35 ($45 with hair extensions), Blown treates its clientele to coffee or champagne. But Blown doesn't stop at blowouts; up-dos, conditioning treatments, braids, cuts, color, make-up and spray tanning. Blown's hilarious slogan reads, "Visit our beautiful 30 chair Beverly Hills location where the champagne always flows, and your hair, make-up and tan will look so impossibly fantastic that it's literally not fair."

Pure | Encinitas

Beachside blow out bar Pure has a unique take on the standard blow dry menu, where add-on's are the stuff that dreams are made of. Clients first choose their standard blowout, such as Pure Classic, Pure Beach,or Pure Wave, and then add on a custom twist, like a Pure Massage or Pure Miracle, a deep conditioning treatment. A bonus? Pure is just steps from cute coffee shops that Encinitas is known for, so take a stroll to show off your new 'do!

BlowPop | San Diego

Whether you're after a mimosa or an extra scalp massage to add to your blow dry, BlowPop knows that's what makes your experience... well, pop. Bowouts at BlowPop start at $40 for the signature service, which includes a wash, condition, and styling of your choice; the Short and Sweet, Cali Curl, Retro Glam, Sleek and Chic, or Va Va Volume are always on the menu! If you're a regular blowout queen, you can also purchase an unlimited blowout plan for $59 a week. (Umm, talk about a steal?!)
