One of our favorite looks for rushed mornings (ahem, Mondays) is this super quick hair tutorial that’s perfect for running late.
Introducing the double braid. We'd do a tutorial, except that the best double braid styles really happen when you're winging it. (Seriously, we're experts on this.)
Grab a thick section of hair around your face and create a thick braid, not quite reaching the bottom. Leave about 2" left at the bottom and tie with a clear elastic. (Bonus points if this one is a french braid!)
At the nape of your neck, take a section of hair about half the size of the first braid and fishtail, french braid, or regular braid it tightly; this time braiding all the way down to the end of your hair and making sure it's a different type of braid than the first. Tie with a clear elastic.
Voilá!
The contrasting braid styles create texture and the illusion of getting up and doing your hair... even if you nailed this hairstyle at a stoplight on the way to work.
If you have a little time (and you're not in the car), lightly curl remaining pieces of your hair on a low setting and set with HOLD YOU Holding Hairspray.
Pretty, fast, and easy… there's not much more you could wish for in a 'do!
xx,
