Italian-born, and Boston-bred, Mario Russo had a few ideas for the famed Mario Russo Salon on Newbury in Boston. The two-story salon opened its doors 25 years ago, and Russo aimed to change the way hair cuts were done in Boston. And BLNDN is excited to now be a part of the action!
Russo's vision was met - and then some. In 2010, Mario Russo Salon opened a satellite location on Boston's waterfront at Fan Pier, after twenty years of award-winning style on Newbury Street. The waterfront store, in addition to the acclaimed services, offer its clients unparalleled water views.
Mario personally hires and trains master and junior stylists alike to be current on fashion trends- but insists that all staff be highly approachable and eager to cater to the distinct lifestyles of the Mario Russo clientele.
