If you're a hair-loving beauty maven and avid hair blog reader like we are, you may have caught the article posted by InStyle today about how to protect your hair from summer damage. The mag suggests wearing a swim cap, donning a hat, and washing your hair less often. We think they may have left something out (ahem, BLNDN).
The article explains, "If you plan on spending quite a bit of time in a chlorinated pool, then opt for a swim cap, specifically alycra one. Too much chlorine in pool water can cause hair loss and wearing alycra swim cap will protect it while still being gentle."
The second best option? InStyle suggests, "When you're not in the pool like the mermaid you are, wear a hat. Protect your scalp from those harsh UV Rays... or accept the consequences."

What to do? Leave the floppy hat at home, babe...and the swim cap especially. We're talking about a new kind of protection here. It's time to stock that pool bag with your BLNDN faves.
We're the only line dedicated to reversing damage after it's already taken place, but bonus points if you can catch it before it ensues. Here are a few tips to care for your hair pool-side:
Don't run from chlorine, babes. You have BLNDN.
