SUNDAY BUN DAY: BOW BUN HOW-TO

Here at BLNDN, we're all about the messy bun. It makes an appearance pretty much every day of the week here at BLNDN HQ, and we're not ashamed. But in light of the Easter holiday today, we're changing the speed of things and going for something a little more polished, because we found the perfect bun for churchin', egg huntin', and mimosa slammin'. Meet the Bow Bun. What better way to celebrate the femininity and frills of the Easter holiday than a Bow Bun?

(Oh bow, she didn't!)

Here's how:

Gather all of your hair on the top of your head and begin forming a ponytail. (Have your hair tie ready!)

Loop your hair through the hair tie, but on the last time, don’t pull your hair all the way through. Create a loop, leaving the tail of your hair (the ends) pointing toward your face.

Divide your loop into two symmetrical halves. (These will be the sides of your bun, respectively.)

Use the tail of your hair that's now sticking back and fold it back through the space in your two looped halves. This will create a center knot. (The bow middle.) secure the ends in the elastic behind the bow in the back of your head. Pin if desired.

Adjust the size of your bow luff up your bow loops with your fingers. Finish with BLNDN HOLD YOU Holding Hairspray.

Enjoy!

xx,

Team BLNDN
