HAZELNUT HAIR: A DO OR A DON'T?

We won't make you wait for the answer. This 'do is a HUGE do, and we can't stop hearing about it in the office today. Do you guys remember the PSL hair and Cinnamon Swirl hair trends that went viral in the last few seasons? Call us all Spice girls, because it seems that when it comes to hair color, spice-inspired hues are the way to go, especially this spring.

So if you haven't heard of the Hazelnut hair trend, we're about to enlighten you in a big way. Similar to the fabulously bronde, hazelnut hair isn’t blonde or brunette, but the best of both worlds. Hazelnut is a warm, buttery shade that works on most skin tones. Different stylists have contrasting approaches to creating the perfect hazelnut. Some prefer to hand-paint a caramel balayage, while others achieve the hazelnut hue by weaving brunette lowlights into otherwise caramel shades.

Loving the lighter colors in the Hazelnut craze? Have your stylist tip the scale a bit on the blonder side. Some options to lightening it up even further are making sure that face-framing strands are the ones with highlights, along with ends, and be sure to keep the blonde parts free of brass by using BLNDNBRIGHTEN YOU on the tips regularly. Finish with yourNOURISH YOU to keep locks moisturized, soft, and extra shiny!

We can't wait to see your Hazelnut shades this season!

xx,

Team BLNDN
