WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY: 5 GIRL BOSSES WE LOVE

1 + 2: Elisa Hills and Erika McKellar (above)

Okay, we might be biased here, but we think our founders Erika and Elisa pretty much have this girl boss thing in the bag. They're the masterminds behind our revolutionary brand and the BLNDN complex. We love ya, Big E and Little E- keep on keepin' on.

3: Sophia Amoruso

New blonde and original Girl Boss Sophia Amoruso, founder of Nasty Gal, even wrote a book called... yep, you guessed it... Girl Boss. This kickass lady is known for her tenacity, and is reportedly in negotiations with Netflix regarding a spinoff TV show based on the book.

4: Rachel Rutherford

The former co-CEO of fashion platformPose, a free app launched that allows fashion-savvy users to buy, share, and trade clothes in a trusted photo-sharing community. (And it's awesome.) Rutherford believes that the most important tool a girl boss-in-training can have is confidence- but you're not born with it. "You have to build it, cultivate it. Say 'I’m worthy, I’m capable, and I’m deserving.", she recently told xoJane. These days, Rachel serves as Chief Product Officer at Seedling.

5: Lauren Bush

Yeah- that Bush. Granddaughter of George Senior and niece of George W. Bush, Lauren is also the fashion model turned CEO and co-founder of the not-for-profit FEED Projects. FEED sells reusable and super-cute bags (peep their clutches, for real). Half the proceeds of the sales of these bags go toward feeding the hungry.

Who are your favorite girl bosses? We'd love to hear.

xx,

Team BLNDN
