What is Baobab?

Baobab seed protein comes from the fruit of the beautiful Baobab tree found in parts of Africa. The Baobab tree is known as the “Tree of Life” for its ability to survive thousands of years in the harshest of climates. Thanks to women’s co-ops and other free trade arrangements, BLNDN is able to use this amazing super ingredient in our BLNDN complex, infused into every single product in our line!

What does Baobab do?

Damage Repair - Baobab has high amounts of Vitamin A, D3 and E, an antioxidant that protects hair from environmental damage. Baobab is also full of omega 3 fatty acids, and its unique makeup allows it to do two things: 1. Soak into the hair, improving its elasticity and suppleness. 2. Form a protective barrier on the surface of the hair. The protective barrier adds shine, smooths, and helps to seal in moisture and block out humidity.

Scalp Health - Baobab is a great moisturizer for dry scalp and can penetrate deep into the hair follicles and actually trigger growth. The omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin A, D3 and E, support a healthy environment on your scalp, which is necessary for healthy hair growth. Baobab is so effective that hair can even become thicker with extended use. (Hair grows about 1/2 inch per month, 6 inches a year.) Even baldness and thinning can be reversed by the regular use of Baobab!
