PORCELAIN
Traditionally seen on grandma's fine china, this trend is popping up on rompers, dresses, and tops heavily this year. The soft blue and white hues bring out blonde skin tones, and jewel tones always bring out the sparkles in our eyes.
GINGHAM
The gingham trend is in full swing this season, and we don't just mean on picnic blankets. This retro print has been popping up on runways and fashion bloggers alike in colors like yellow, blue, and red. Styles vary from small to large boxes, but treat them like you would the horizontal vs. vertical stripe struggle; bigger boxes add shape, and smaller gingham prints are slimming.
SEERSUCKER
Seersucker has traditionally screamed southern prep, but we're seeing it all over these days. Technically seersucker isn't a print, but really a form of puckered linen. However, the popularity of those thin blue stripes has really launched seersucker into the forefront of favorite patterns for summer. Tanya over at Stripes'n'vibes blog really nailed the nautical seersucker vibe.
FLORAL
Spring might be over, but florals are always in season. While pastels might hint at the earlier months, brighter colors make a floral print a little more summery. Blogger Olivia over at Livvy Land perfectly executes the summer floral print.
PALM TREE
As seen on bloggers like Mckenna Bleu, the palm tree print is reminiscent of a tropical getaway and in full swing this summer-- most notably in maxi and wrap dresses. Pair a palm print with a neutral shoe and gold accessories to make the whole look pop.
What are your favorite prints this summer? We'd love to hear!
