BRIGHTEN YOU is free of all harmful sulfates. Shimmer Lights contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Both of which are well know skin irritants, environmental pollutants and potentially carcinogenic. It also strips color, and dries out the hair, causing damage (split ends, breakage, frizz) or making existing damage worse. Double EW.
BRIGHTEN YOU, and every BLNDN product is 100% cruelty free. We love our fur babies more than life itself. Shimmer Lights is NOT cruelty free. Bunny Love.
BRIGHTEN YOU contains the most efficacious and effective hair protein on the market, Baobab protein. It does all kinds of amazing things (Check out our blog on Baobab). Most of your hair products contain proteins, and not all are created equal. Proteins are wonderful because they fill in the gaps in our cuticles, making our hair stronger, appear fuller and more resistant. Shimmer Lights contains Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, which penetrates and moisturizes but does little else. Be Picky.
